COACH HIRE

Sutton Coach Company

Sutton is a metropolitan town located within the Borough of Sutton in Southern London. However, back in the medieval times, Sutton was just a small village that had two churches and a meadow of about 2 acres—according to the 10th century Domesday Book. As the city has done much to preserve its medieval culture, it has also bred a host of new attractions thanks to urbanisation.

As Sutton minibus hire Company, we want to show you the old and new that makes up this great English city. Our minibus company has expanded to cover many of the roads leading in and out of the city. In our fleet, we own only the best of brands to keep our clients happy; once you order, a Mercedes 16 seater or 14-seater Ford Transit will be well on your way.

Things to Do in Sutton

We can also organise one of our 72 seater Volvos for a school or corporate trip, or just a large number of friends choosing to hang out together. Here are some of the best attractions to visit while in Sutton.

The Sutton Whitehall

This was a former palace dwelt by the Tudors of the 15th century. It’s interesting to note the mansion has maintained its structure, now boasting of a rustic charm unrivalled by other attraction around. The Whitehall sits right at the middle of Cheam Village and is entirely framed with timber.

The Sports Village Amusement Park

Your kids don’t have to sit in the hotel room bored when they can have the fun of their life at the Sports Village. This is a kid’s park containing open playgrounds, indoor games as well as a nature park. Entry for adults is free so you only have to pay for your kids to play. Pick an afternoon or even a full day to explore the activities at the Sports Village and have the best time ever bonding with your children.

The Sutton Armillary

The Armillary is one of the main art pieces that are publicly displayed in Sutton. It is mainly a meshwork of metal moulded to resemble a globe of sorts. Other pieces in this collection include the Twin-Town Murals, Messenger Statue and The Heritage Mosaic. You can give yourself the challenge of hunting for all art pieces to complete the collection.

Nonesuch Park

Just in case you didn’t make it to the Sports Village, the Nonesuch Park is an equally exciting place to spend with family. The park is filled with leafy trees, thick grasses and pristine flora. Back in time, this was the main grounds where King Henry VIII came to hunt for sport. Today it houses much of this history through the many buildings and monuments found in the park. There is plenty of open space to have a picnic, some ball games or just walk your toddlers about. Recently they added a tea-room where you can get quick refreshments in case you didn’t bring your own picnic basket.
